Boston Bruins Fans Start Fighting Each Other During Stanley Cup Final Game

Boston Bruins fans fight in the stands

Tensions were high in the stands at TD Garden during game 5 of the Stanley Cup Finals between the St. Louis Blues and the Boston Bruins. At one point during the game, a couple of Bruins fans sitting in the nosebleed section started arguing with each other, and their argument quickly spiraled into a brawl as they began throwing punches and fighting in the seats.

Somebody in the stands recorded video of the wild fight and sent it to St. Louis Post-Dispatch sports columnist Benjamin Hochman, who shared it on Twitter.

The 45-second video starts with two men, both in Bruins gear, arguing with each other. All hell breaks loose when one of the fans throws a beer in the face of the other man. The men start punching each other and roll down into the next row of seats as shocked bystanders got up to avoid the melee.

While those two men are battling, two other fans start fighting each other in the aisle as security rushes over to break up the fight.

No word on it anybody was arrested or charged for their role in the brawl.

You can watch the video below, though be warned contains strong language.

The Bruins would go on to lose the game by a score of 2-1 following a controversial non-call that led to the Blues scoring the go-ahead goal midway through the third period. The Blues have a 3-2 series lead and will look to clinch their first every Stanley Cup on Sunday (June 9).
